Wake Mia was founded by Marcelo Oliveira, a Licensed USCG 100 Ton Captain with more than 20 years of boating and watersports experience. Having spent decades navigating the ocean and sharing his passion for life on the water, Marcelo created Wake Mia to deliver premium wakesurf experiences in Miami.

His philosophy is simple. Safety, professionalism, and making every moment on the water enjoyable and memorable.

Known for his calm leadership and attention to detail, Captain Marcelo ensures that every outing is smooth, safe, and welcoming for riders of all levels. At Wake Mia, every session takes place behind a premium Nautique G23, one of the most respected wake boats in the industry.
